Media Agency Group has launched a new campaign with the leading Chinese television broadcaster TVB. It marks a major UK marketing push for the network as it targets a British-based Chinese audience in key advertising locations
The campaign sees TVB light up premier media spots including London’s famous Piccadilly One, positioning the network alongside global brands such as Samsung, Coca-Cola and McDonald’s in arguably the most iconic digital outdoor spot in the UK, with over two million people passing this landmark each week.
The ads promote TVB Anywhere, a brand new Chinese TV service furnished with an e-commerce platform. The service is delivered through set-top box and mobile devices with registration allowed on www.tvbanywhere.com in 48 countries across Europe, including the UK.
By securing ad space in iconic London locations such as Piccadilly One, Media Agency Group has been able to target a Chinese-speaking audience in some of London’s main tourist hotspots, with unrivalled levels of footfall. There are approximately 125,000 Chinese nationals living in the UK capital, with around 200,000 visiting each year – making London the ideal city to launch this campaign in.
